Instructions for Payment Options

Before making the payment please make sure that all the entry requirements are met to avoid any future complications.

Please contact your centre (Contact details at: https://reginfo.ou.ac.lk/contact.php) for any clarifications.


Select one of the payment options from the following:

Pay cash at a branch of the People's Bank

 

     Steps to follow:

  • Download the payment receipt.
  • Fill the People’s Bank Deposit Slip as instructed below using the details in the payment receipt.
  • Upon the successful completion of the transaction, a SMS will be sent by the OUSL 
  • If you have not received a SMS, please email your System Generated Receipt & the Copy of the Deposit  Slip to payments@ousl.lk

Note: Your payment details will not be updated unless  you email both the receipt and the slip.

  • You will receive a response from OUSL within 3 working days.

 


Pay Cash at any Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) of People's Bank

 

 

Steps to follow:

  • Download the payment receipt.
  • Enter the OUSL Account Number (Acc No: 1741 0015 1189 657) in the cash deposit machine.
  • Upon the successful completion of the transaction a SMS will be sent by the OUSL 
  • If you have  not received a  SMS, please email your System Generated Receipt & the CDM generated receipt to payments@ousl.lk

Note: Your payment details will not be updated unless you email both receipts.

  • You will receive a response from the OUSL within 3 working days.

 


Online Bank Transfer

Steps to follow:

  • Please enter the OUSL Account Number (Acc No: 1741 0015 1189 657) to transfer the money.
  • Upon the successful transaction an SMS will be sent by the Bank.
  • Upon the successful completion of the transaction a SMS will be sent by the OUSL
  • If you have not received the SMS, please email your System Generated Receipt & the Bank Transfer receipt to payments@ousl.lk.

Note: Your payment will not be updated unless you email both receipts.

  • You will receive a response from the OUSL within 3 working days.

 


Credit Card Payment

Steps to follow:

  • The Payment Gateway will be opened in a new tab. Credit Card payments from any bank are acceptable here.
  • Select your Credit Card type.
  • Enter your Credit Card number.
  • Enter your Credit Card expiry date.
  • Enter your name as given in the Credit Card.
  • Enter 3-Digit Security Code as per your Credit Card.
  • Click on the “PROCEED” button.
  • Upon successful completion of the transaction, the system will display a notification to the effect. 
  • If your payment has not been updated in the system, please email  Proof of Payment  to payments@ousl.lk.

Note: You payment will not be updated unless you have email the proof of payment

  • You will receive a response from the OUSL within 3 working days.

 


Debit Card Payment

Steps to follow:

  • Please make sure that you have obtained the approval from your bank to conduct online transitions. 
  • The Payment Gateway will be opened in a new tab. Debit Card payments from any bank are acceptable here.
  • Select your Debit Card type.
  • Enter your Debit Card number.
  • Select your Debit Card expiry date.
  • Enter your name as per your Debit Card.
  • Enter 3-Digit  Security Code shown in your Debit Card.
  • Click on the “PROCEED” button.
  • Upon successful completion of the transaction, the system will display a notification to the effect. 
  • If your payment has not been updated in the system, please email  Proof of Payment  to payments@ousl.lk.

  • You will receive a response from the OUSL within 3 working days.

 


Cash Payment at an OUSL Centre

Steps to follow:

  • This option is available ONLY at the Colombo Regional Centre and the Kandy Regional Centre.
  • Download the payment receipt.
  • Hand over your payment receipt to the Shroff counter.
  • Upon the successful completion of the transaction a SMS will be sent by the OUSL
  • If you have not received the SMS, please email your System Generated Receipt & the Payment Receipt issued by the Shroff to the Assistant Director of your academic center (https://reginfo.ou.ac.lk/contact.php)

Note: Your payment will not be updated unless you email both receipts.

  • You will receive a response from the OUSL within 3 working days.
